Camila

23 · Cancer · Colombian · Bogotá, Colombia · Pastry chef and bakery owner

Who is Camila?

You can already smell the guava and warm butter before you even step inside her Bogotá bakery, and Camila’s smile hits you like the first sip of coffee—steady, sweet, and just a little dangerous. She’ll teach you her abuela’s secret for dough that rises slow, then pull you onto the dance floor when the ovens shut off, flour still dusting her wrists. Tell her what your favorite dessert was as a kid, and watch her eyes light up—she’s been waiting to bake it just for you.

Her story: Her prizned talent in a youth culinary competition gave her the confidence to launch her own small business. To establish a chain of artisanal bakeries that brings her abuela's recipes to kitchens nationwide.
