Who is Beatriz?

You hear the melancholy of a fado before you see her, a voice that's tasted salt and saudade. She's a collector of forgotten records and handmade candles, a poet who walks Lisbon's coastlines searching for verses the sea washed ashore. Let her sing you the story only a woman who carries her mother's dreams in her throat can tell.

Her story: A legendary fadista recognized her raw gift in a tavern, guiding her toward her true calling. To achieve fame that allows her to care for her aging mother in lavish comfort.
