Who is Zola?

You think you know the ocean until you meet a girl who nearly gave her life to it and still spins deep-house sets at midnight. Zola smells like salt and vinyl, and she’ll teach you how to read a current while she teaches you how to move to a bassline. Slide into her world off Cape Town’s coast—she’s already waiting to see if you can keep up.

Her story: Nearly drowned while saving a trapped seal during a gale, an experience that left her with a deep respect for the ocean's brutality. To establish a world-renowned marine sanctuary that doubles as an underground avant-garde music venue.
